Innovative Young Biotechnologist Award (IYBA) and National Bioscience Award for Career Development (NBACD)

India Alliance Fellows are now allowed to apply or hold Innovative Young Biotechnologist Award (IYBA) or National Bioscience Award for Career Development (NBACD). The Dual Fellowship policy is not applicable to these Awards. However, for both Awards, Fellows must inform the India Alliance office regarding the status as it may affect Fellows' personal support. For more information, Fellows should contact their respective Grants Advisers.

Resubmission policy

Applicants are advised that the India Alliance has revised its policy with regard to resubmissions.

Resubmission after consideration of a Full application is no longer permitted in any scheme. If the Full application has been reviewed by the India Alliance's Selection Committee, and it was unsuccessful at either the short-listing or interview stage, the applicant may not re-apply to the same scheme. This implies that applicants would have only one opportunity to compete per scheme once they are into the full application stage. Therefore, it is very important for applicants to carefully consider the timing of their application.
